Photography 101

Well, I guess it's time to try my hand at this thing finally...

I think the most important thing to understand about the art of photography is the same with any medium... it's that an artist creates what they can with the tools they have. It's not the camera that is important, but rather the hand that wields it. This is not to say that equipment serves no purpose, because that is NOT true. Equipment is a tool. An artist uses that tool to create. Art can be created with ANY tool. An artist with many tools available may have more options open to them for that creation process and can diversify their visions, but they are by no means tied to those tools. Here is your project, should you choose to accept it:

Go to Target, Walgreen's, Wally world, or any place of this nature and pick yourself up a disposable FILM camera with 24-36 shots on the roll. Find yourself a subject with sufficient light and go to town. Develop that roll and peruse the results. Have fun :)
